Wu Zhen, former deputy director of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), is under investigation for suspected disciplinary and law violations, the anti-graft authorities said Thursday.

Wu, also a member of the Leading Party Members Group of the CFDA, is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
