Police in south China's Hainan Province arrested 22 suspects involved in a drug dealing ring and seized 812.7 grams of heroin and methamphetamine, local police said Tuesday.

In October last year, police in Chengmai County identified a suspected drug trafficker surnamed Xie through the investigation of multiple drug-related cases.

In May, the police received a tip about the suspect's activity and launched several raids that led to the arrest.

The police also confiscated five vehicles, 76 bullets and more than 110,000 yuan (around 16,046 U.S. dollars) of drug money.
