Customs in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province said Tuesday that they have arrested three drug dealers and seized 1.16 tonnes of ketamine.

Customs received information about a suspected drug trafficking ring on May 31 and launched a raid that led to the arrest of three main suspects on June 24.

The suspects used hollow artificial stone panels to hide the drug and declared only the stone panels when they were attempting to smuggle the drugs abroad, customs said.

Further investigation is underway.
