Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province have caught two suspects and seized 17.6 kilograms of heroin, local police said Thursday.

In early May, police in Guangnan County received a tip-off that the drug dealers were planning to bring a large amount of drugs to sell in Xichou County.

The suspects were caught selling the drugs on May 9 near the Xichou County bus station. Police also seized an SUV.

An investigation is ongoing.
