The satellite, nicknamed "Wukong" after the Monkey King with penetrating eyes in the Chinese classical fiction "Pilgrimage to the West", is a space telescope in search for smoking-gun signals of dark matter, invisible material that scientists say makes up most of the universe's mass. China is taking a leading position in strategic hi-tech sectors. It will enhance strength in science and technology in the coming years to create more opportunities for itself and the world.
