In 2017, macroeconomic stability in Heilongjiang Province improved. According to the preliminary accounting, the total GDP volume of the province has exceeded 16000 billion yuan for the first time, achieving 1 trillion and 619 billion 990 million yuan, according to comparable prices, an increase of 6.4% over the previous year, an increase of 0.3 percentage points, the highest in the past four years. Among them, the added value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries increased by 5.4%, 2.9% and 8.7% respectively. The growth rates of the primary and tertiary industries were respectively 1.5 and 0.7 percentage points higher than the national average of 3.9% and 1.5% respectively.
