During his meeting with de Villepin, Wang said China highly values its relations with France and Europe. He called on both sides to contribute to just and fair Internet governance.

Hailing China's entry into a new era, de Villepin said he will continue his efforts to improve France-China relations, and push forward bilateral cooperation on new technology, cyberspace governance and climate change.
