The China Youth Care Foundation is to cease all operations for a month following malpractice in fund-raising, acceptance of donations and use of its assets, the Ministry of Civil Affairs said Thursday.

The foundation violated the Regulation on the Administration of Foundations in terms of the purposes of its activities and the range of its events, said the ministry.

The foundation is a national public foundation initiated by the China National Committee for the Wellbeing of Youth.
