 Villagers of a village in Liaocheng City, east China’s Shandong Province, created a pattern with corn on Oct. 15 to mark the upcoming 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) that will convene on Oct. 18. The pattern was made to mark opening of the 19th CPC National Congress as well as to express their best wishes for national prosperity. The village’s grain cooperatives reaped a bumper harvest this year, with the corn yield per mu reaching 650 kilograms.    |
