Hong Kong stocks closed down 322.25 points, or 1.24 percent, to 25,708.04 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,689.23 and 25,957.78. Turnover totaled 87.63 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 11.24 billion U.S. dollars).
