A Chinese court in the northeastern city of Dalian on Friday opened a trial on suspected crimes of the company Beijing Pangu Investment as well as three individuals.

The defendants are widely believed to be linked to fugitive criminal suspect Guo Wengui.

They are accused of charges including frauds in obtaining loans and foreign exchange.
