On the 16 th, the head of Heilongjiang Province Department of commerce, Meng XiangJun expressed in “2016 Heilongjiang this year” news conference that the province has opened up cross-border Russian commercial aviation, land freight channel, Harbin-Europe and Harbin-Russia freight block trains. In 2016, Heilongjiang Province sent a total of 9.4884 million pieces of international parcels, weighing 2410.19 ton, with commodity value nearly 200 million U.S dollars. Harbin-Russia freight shipped 101 trains, 2474 standard boxes, of goods worth 2.09 million dollars. It respectively increases 71.18%、98.55% and 67.2% than the same period in previous years. Harbin-Russia freight block trains have realized weekly normalized operation. It totally sent 4234 standard boxes which costs 56.14 million dollars in 2016.
