On the 16 th, chairman of Heilongjiang Province Agriculture Committee Wang Jinhui expressed in “2016 Heilongjiang this year” press conference that Heilongjiang’s total grain production was 60.585 billon kilograms (kg) in 2016. It continues to maintain China's first.

It is understood that Heilongjiang’s crop planting structure realized “minus one plus seven”. The corn area was reduced to 128.13 million hectare. Farmer’s per capita income increased to 272 yuan through replanting coarse cereals, mixed beans, vegetables and other efficient crops. It established 1170 high standard green organic demonstration bases of “Internet plus”. The provinces certified organic food area is 493.33 million hectares, occupying one-third of total planting area. The export-oriented agriculture, fisheries, silkworm bee advantages and others speed up the development of characteristic industry, which enhanced the diversified supply of agricultural products and promoted the agricultural income level.
