Four attackers have been shot and killed after they rammed their car into the government compound of Moyu County in Xinjiang and ignited explosives there.

A report published on a website run by the regional government says the attack also left another dead and three injured, but their identities have yet to be revealed.

There are no further details as yet.

The report also noted that social order in the county remains stable.
