[Photo: Xinhua] Senior Communist Party of China official Liu Yunshan is set to wrap up his 2-day stop in Hungary this Friday, which is the final stop on his current tour to promote the "Belt and Road" initiative. Liu Yunshan, member of the politburo Standing Committee, is taking part in the China-Central and Eastern European Political Parties Dialogue. The session is part of the China-CEECs cooperation mechanism, which has been dubbed the "16+1" framework. Addressing the opening ceremony, Liu Yunshan has suggested priority areas should include infrastructure connectivity and industrial cooperation. At the same time, he suggests more cultural ties should also help maintain and grow ties between China and Central and Eastern Europe. Liu Yunshan arrived in Budapest on Wednesday after a stop-over in Greece. He began his current tour in Mongolia.
