All his exhibited works were created over the past decade. They are seen as an artistic expression of a monk's perspective towards the ties between human and Mother Nature. The identity of being a Buddhist monk makes the artist's works even more appealing to local visitors who hope to both appreciate his art pieces and understand his profound philosophy on the meaning of life. Visitors who missed his first exhibition in the UNESCO Center of Macao may go to a local museum called the "Lotus Museum". Da Chan's artworks will be on display there until May 5th. Extraordinary Buddhist paintings are oftentimes regarded with high cultural value. In history, the Four Monk Painters of the early Qing Dynasty, including Shi Tao, Ba Da, Hong Ren and Kun Can, are all recognized as talented artists by people around the world.
