[Photo: Xinhua] Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has arrived in Shanghai to kick off an official visit to China. While there, Turnbull has signed a deal to promote both tourism and the Australian Football League in the China. Under the agreement, Turnbull says one of next year's AFL games is going to be played in Shanghai. "This is a very exciting day for a very exciting game in the most exciting place in the world. 40 years ago this great country barely engaged with the global economy and now it is either the world's largest single national economy or shortly will be. It is a remarkable transformation and Australia is part of this transformation and it is wonderful that our national football game is going to be part of it too." Turnbull has also announced Australian authorities are planning to trial new visa rules for visitors and students from China, including the idea of creating 10-year visas for tourists. More than a million Chinese nationals visited Australia last year, adding some 8-billion Australian dollars into the Australian economy.
