A suspect who violently attacked a young girl at a hotel in the Chaoyang district of eastern Beijing on April 3, 2016 has been arrested in central China's Henan Province, according to the official Weibo account of Beijing public security on April 7th.

Surnamed Li, the suspect is reported to be from Henan province and aged 24.

The man approached a young lady as she was looking for her room key card at Heyi Hotel, the flagship of the Homeinns Hotel Group. The man asked her which room she was staying in and then tried to drag her violently into the corridor.

The lady screamed to attract the attention of other guests and hotel staff for help. The suspect then fled the scene immediately.

Further investigation is underway.
