The measure aims to reduce the temptation for bribery in supervisory departments and to prevent market players from any chance of illegal behavior, the Premier said. The Premier stressed severe crackdowns against criminal behavior in fields such as food and drug, and public security and that misconduct and corruption should be seriously investigated. That will ensure the public's health and safety, he said. In addition, related departments should publicize information and respond to the public's concerns in a timely manner. Premier Li also called for a whole-process monitoring of the common resource deal. He asked local authorities to establish trading platforms by the end of June, to set up an electronic trading system by the end of this year and to strengthen supervision with the use of the big data.
