Wallet threat is the reluctant act of pulling ones wallet out as a sign of willingness to pay for a meal that was assumed to be a treat. Normally, this threat wwould be immediately cleared when the people who offered the treat in the first place paid for the bill.

Wallet threat(钱包威胁)指被别人请吃饭时，不情不愿地掏钱包做出付账姿态的行为。通常情况下，请客的一方结账以后，这个“钱包威胁”就立即解除了。

比如下面这两个人：

"Mike, put that thing away, dinner is on me tonight."

迈克，快把钱包收起来，今晚这顿我请。

"But it's so expensive."

可是这顿饭太贵了。

"Dude, seriously, chill out with the wallet threat.
