Several policemen raided a refitted car party on Friday night in the basement parking lot of the Galaxy Soho in Beijing when they were investigating cars with forged licence plates.

Some 27 refitted cars and one with a forged plate were spotted on the scene, including GT-R35, Lancer EVO, Porsche 911, etc.

Two cars were impounded by the police and 26 car owners were penalized for illegally modifying their cars.

According to the official weibo account of Beijing Traffic Management Bureau, refitted cars may violate the law. The police will intensify checks on illegally refitted vehicles.
