Recently, China Aviation Industry has independently developed a new generation of advanced generic regional turboprop transport aircraft a new generation advanced Turboprop Harbin Transport-12 which obtained a certificate issued by FAA(Federal Aviation Administration). This is in continuation of obtaining 12IV and transport aircraft-12E certification . In the series of Transport-12, Harbin’s Transport-12 is the the third to obtain FAA type certificate, is currently the world 8-ton 23 commuter category airplanes that only obtained FAA type ceritification and market models.
