The latest stats suggest China's supply of state-owned construction land declined last year, with land used for real estate dropping the most.

The Ministry of Land and Resources is reporting the total amount of state-owned construction land decreased over 12 percent year on year to just over 500 thousand hectares.

Land used for real estate development has decreased by 20 percent to some 120 thousand hectares.

Land used for industry, mining and warehouses by around 25-pecent.

Area allocated for infrastructure development decreased by around 7 percent.

The same stats do show that land prices for both commercial and residential purposes rose some 3 percent by the end of 2015.
