The figure was released by the book's English copyright holder today. The first part of the Three-Body trilogy, translated into English by Chinese-American writer Ken Liu, won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Novel, and has made more than 2 million U.S. dollars.The other two books are "The Dark Forest" and "Death's End." The trilogy depicts the story of an alien invasion of Earth while the first book, "The Three-Body Problem," centers on a secret military project that enables humans to establish contact with the aliens who teeter on the edge of extinction. The trilogy has sold more than 1 million copies in China. Liu Cixin was the first Asian writer to win the Hugo Award, generally considered the highest honor for sci-fi works. |
