DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda 3" has nabbed over 300 million yuan in just two days of screening in China.

The latest in the Kung Fu Panda franchise has also climbed to the top of the North American box office, pulling in 10.5 million US dollars on Friday.

It is on its way to rule the weekend box office, with a projected take of around 40 million US dollars.

"The Revenant" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" continue to do big business, coming in at No. 2 and No. 3 right now.

"The Revenant," is expected to pull in 11 million US dollars this weekend, pushing its total North American earnings toward 140 million US dollars.

"Force Awakens" will add 9 million US dollars to its gross, making its U.S. total to around 895 million US dollars.
