Chinese Internet company Meituan-Dianping has raised more than 3.3 billion U.S. dollars in its latest funding round.

No further details have been revealed by the company.

Alibaba-backed Meituan merged with Tencent-backed Dianping in October last year.

Meituan-Dianping offers services such as restaurant reviews, food delivery and e-coupon promotions.

In November, It was reported that Alibaba was seeking to sell its stake in the firm.
