[Photo: Xinhua] Chinese President Xi Jinping has issued another call for innovation to be the cornerstone of the government's new 5-Year Plan. Xi Jinping has made the suggestion while touring BOE Technology Group plant in Chongqing. "It is the 13th Five-Year Plan. We're advocate five keywords in the new growth concept for this period, among which innovation has been ranked number-1 first. I believe BOE has been doing well in this area. You need to keep growing and keep moving. We need to give top priority to innovation, especially when it comes to generating key technologies." The stop-over at the BOE plant is part of the Chinese President's first inspection tour of the year in Chongqing. As part of his time in the megacity, Xi Jinping has also made a stop at the Guoyuan Port, which is a newly-built port on the Yangtze River. Guoyuan Port is being touted as the largest inland port in China. It links waterways, railways and highways throughout inland China.
