Belarusian government has authorized 41 people to coordinate the development of relations with China, the press service of the Belarusian government said on Monday. The 41 people include heads of state administration bodies and other state-run organizations, local executive and regulatory agencies, and people personally responsible for the development of cooperation with China. These officials have been instructed to submit information about the work on and topical issues of Belarus-China interaction in compliance with the plan of action for implementing the President's Directive No. 5 regarding the development of bilateral relations of Belarus and China. The Directive notes that the main directions of cooperation between Belarus and China are deep and mutual integration of industries and enterprises, information and communication technologies, research and the formation of joint research centers, joint development of industrial science, direct and systemic inter-regional cooperation, the establishment of a regional center of Sinology and cooperation with China in Belarus. The Belarus-China intergovernmental committee on cooperation is a coordinating body to facilitate the development bilateral ties. |
