A robot teacher taught lessons to a class at Jiujiang University in southeast China's Jiangxi province on June 3, 2015.

The robot named "Xiaomei" is a product of the university's research team, which takes the a month to make.

According to a report by Chinannews, robot "Xiaomei" not only is capable to take classes according to PPT, but also able to conduct simple communications with students.

It is the first time for schools in Jiangxi to use a robotic teacher in classrooms.
