[Photo: CFP] Traditional Chinese Medicine maker Beijing Tongrentang is reporting profits of nearly 40-million US dollars through the first quarter. It's an increase of nearly 14-percent compared to the same period last year. Tongrentang's sales revenues hit over 3 billion yuan through the quarter. This is a year-on-year increase of over 4-percent. Founded in the 17 century, Tongrentang has 110 overseas branches, employing more than 600 people. This echos Chinese authorities' plan to help traditional Chinese Medicine "go global". |
