On the evening of the 6th, the 31st China Harbin Summer Concert "Singing along Songhua River" opening ceremony performance was held at The Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center.

This Summer Concert opened from August 6th and closed on August 15th lasting ten days. It brought together international and domestic performances as China’s Harbin Summer Concert, world’s stage, people’s festival and grand ceremony of music being the goal. Over 20 countries including, America, France, Spain, Russia, Austria and Finland performance groups cooperated with top Chinese performance groups. It had more than 50 European mainstream media broadcasters rebroadcasting the event, international music carnival cruise, international accordion art week, an international award-winning musicians concert and three world class debut performances. There were a thousand cultural activities with over a million people joining in.
