Also making the list is Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" along with 3-D versions of classic animations "The Lion King" and "Beauty and the Beast."

The "tribute to masters" section will include a special screening of "Cleopatra" to commemorate the late screen legend Elizabeth Taylor.

Over 300 domestic and foreign-produced films will be screened at 33 cinemas during the week long event.

Now in its 15th year, the Shanghai filmfest is China's main international film event.

Renowned French director Jean-Jacques Annaud will chair the jury for the main competition section of this year's festival.

Organizers have so far revealed ten of the competition films that will vie for the coverted Golden Goblet Award.

The entrants come from countries including Spain, India and the UK.

All of the action kicks off on June 16.
