銆€銆€Jackie Chan and Fan Bingbing are set to attend the Cannes International Film Festival in France, as part of the 'China Film Night' which takes place in France tomorrow.

銆€銆€The event is to be co-hosted by CCTV-6 and the organizing committee of the 65th festival.

銆€銆€Screenings include action adventure film, "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains," and "Painted Skin II," a supernatural fantasy movie about a demon becoming human.

銆€銆€Other big Chinese stars to attend the event include Zhou Xun and Gu Changwei along with popular Chinese actors such as Yang Mi, Tong Dawei and Feng Shaofeng.

銆€銆€With the rapid growth of the Chinese film industry, there is increasing demand in foreign film markets for more Chinese films.

銆€銆€And Cannes film festival which opens later today is coming under fire for not selecting any female directed films this year.

銆€銆€The top film award has only ever been awarded to a woman once in 2003 to Jane Campion for 'The Piano'.
