Heilongjiang Province is rich in non-material cultural heritage resources, and some have entered the literary and artistic creation in all categories, having produced a large number of excellent works, and some have entered the ranks of tourism and cultural industries, having created social and economic benefits. On 27 March 2007 Heilongjiang Provincial Government published the first batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage list of 57 items l, among which marked with “★” ones are number one national intangible cultural heritage, namely, 9 items.
