    銆€銆€The Renminbi (RMB), the official currency of China, was issued on Dec 1, 1948 after the establishment of the People's Bank of China. 5 series of RMB, including paper money, coins, memorial coins and precious metal coins, have been released before Oct 1, 1999. The pictures and people on RMB are also a miniature representation of society. Let's take a look at the people who were once on the RMB.

    1. In April 1962, the third series of Chinese one Yuan was released, picturing a female working in the field on a tractor. The girl, Liang Jun was the first female tractor driver in China, and the national model worker in 1950. She was also the chief engineer in Harbin Agriculture Bureau. Now, she is in her 80s.
