    Chinese actress Fan Bingbing wowed the crowds on Monday with her appearance at the premiere of Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's film "Biutiful" at the Cannes Film Festival.

    As the only Asian presence, Fan shone on the red carpet in an Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture white strapless gown.

    Local journalists in Cannes have praised her style, calling her "The Swan Princess from China".

    Fan stars in the Chinese drama film "Chongqing Blues", which will compete for the Golden Palm award on May 23.
