Love at First, or Ai Zhi Chu Ti Yan in Chinese("爱之初体验") has leading characters portrayed by Zhang Chao, who is better known as a singer than an actor and Li Xiaofeng, who is a TV hostess. Zhang Chao acts as the boy Tian Xiaoye and Li Xiaofeng plays his girl friend, but she's also the mistress of another man(小三儿). By contrast, a supporting actor in the film is the heavyweight veteran Taiwan-American film actor David Wu, who is also famous for his role as Channel V video jockey. David Wu plays a lustful editor-in-chief of a music magazine, who is also the boss of Tian Xiaoye. The film is another movie adaptation on the basis of a song written and sung by Taiwan rock musician Chang Chen-yue. Also, a number of popular songs have been used as incidental music for this movie to add to the moviegoers' expectation. |
