[Video courtesy of m1905.com] The Chinese fantasy adventure film, "Don Quixote", hailed as the first film in Asia shot completely in 3-D, unveils its final trailer via M1905.com.
Based on the novel of Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes, director A Gan's "Don Quixote" added elements of China to the famous story. Chinese mainland actor Guo Tao stars as the knight-errant and Hong Kong actress Karena Lam stars as village girl Cui Hua, who was designated by Guo as a princess. Guo falls deep in love with the girl and starts his journey to save her life. Many famous actors were invited to join the fantasy adventure, including host-actor Wang Gang, Miao Pu, and Sun Xing. Director A Gan has also adopted some spectacular special effects to tell the story. From the 3-minute trailer, we can see that the book's most famous scene "Don Quixote attacks the windmill" also appears in the movie. The movie also was tagged as Karena Lam's last big-screen work as the star is now expecting her first child with her husband Steve Yuen in Canada. |
