"Lust, Caution" actress Tang Wei has signed up to join Hong Kong director Jingle Ma's new film, "Race Car" ("Sai Che"), in which she will star as a race car driver, QQ.com reports.

Tang Wei plays the role of a taxi driver who rigorously trains herself to be a professional race car driver. During the course of her training, she falls in love with her coach. In addition to the love story, the film follows Tang as she takes on a group of professional drivers from Japan and other countries.

South Korean actor Han Jae Suk, who gained popularity in China for the TV series "All about Eve", will star as Tang's coach in the film.
